The PADI Scuba
Diver program is a pre-entry level certification
that is perfect for vacationers or people who
only plan to dive a couple times a year.
As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver
program, the PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you
to get certified quickly and easily by
minimizing time constraints. With the PADI Scuba
Diver Certification you can dive under the
direct supervision of a PADI Dive master,
Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher
professional on your next vacation or dive trip.
This program is a wonderful opportunity to
explore the underwater world with the comfort
and safety of having an experienced guide with
you at all times. With a PADI Scuba Diver
Certification card, you will be able to obtain
air fills, scuba equipment and other services
for diving under supervision.
During the course of the program you will use
the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and Video or
multimedia CD-ROM. Credit earned in this program
can be used towards the Open Water Diver
Certification. The Open Water Diver course uses
the same materials as the Scuba Diver course, so
already you are on your way to continuing
further dive adventures.
Anyone aged 15 or over qualifies for the PADI
Scuba Diver program. We will ask you to complete
some paperwork, which includes a Medical
questionnaire, Liability Release, and a Safe
Diving Statement.

The PADI EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE program covers
basic training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

The program is designed for divers and
non-divers, and also meets the CPR and First aid
prerequisite for earning your PADI Rescue Diver
rating.

The PADI Rescue
Diver program develops your knowledge and skills
so you can effectively
perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving
accident situations and render first aid. The
program is an important step in expanding your
knowledge and experience as a diver. PADI Rescue
Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a
prerequisite for all PADI leadership programs.
To get into the PADI Rescue Diver program,
you'll need to be certified as a PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and must be at
least 15 years old.
You'll also need to have successfully completed
the PADI EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE program or a
sanctioned program in CPR within the past 24
months. The PADI Rescue Diver program covers:
